(NewsGlobal.com)- The Biden administration is secretly developing artificial intelligence to censor speech on social media to target “microaggressions,” according to Summit News. The development will be created with the use of about half a million dollars.
The program is reportedly part of Biden’s $1.9 trillion “American Rescue Plan” and will be funding researchers at the University of Washington to censor content that is deemed “discriminatory.”

Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, said that the measure was similar to those being made by the Chinese Communist Party who have been taking steps to “censor speech unapproved by the state.” He also called it a “project to make it easier for their leftist allies to censor speech.”

The program will reportedly develop AI with “machine-learning models” that will automatically correct speech it considers harmful or offensive to “marginalized groups.” The lead researcher of the project, professor Yulia Tsvetko, recently coauthored a study titled, “Finding Microaggressions in the Wild,” which claimed that when one is treated differently it is because of another’s merit.
Tsvetko was recently involved in an article that promoted the positivity of “BlackLivesMatter tweets” throughout 2020. She argued that some tweets are disparaging to the movement when they are pointing out the violence that protestors may engage in.
Examples of microaggressions are when someone asks where one is originally from and when someone claims that one might not be black because one parent is not.
The news comes amid revelations that the FBI and the Biden administration were in communication with Twitter to censor stories or tweets that they considered unfavorable to the left’s political narratives.
Biden operatives reportedly asked Twitter employees to censor the infamous Hunter Biden laptop story originally published by The New York Post weeks before election day, according to The Daily Caller.
Twitter CEO Elon Musk revealed the “Twitter files,” showing the behind-the-scenes of employees collaborating with the Biden team. The “thousands of internal documents obtained by sources at Twitter” also showed how the social media platform uses tools to control speech.
