Congressman Gets License Taken Away By Police Officer

( Republican Rep. Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina is in trouble again, after newly-released dashcam video footage appears to show him being pulled over by a police officer. The officer told Cawthorn that he was driving with an invalid license.

Cawthorn, who is 26 years old, was asked to turn over his driving license on March 3, 2022, and swap seats with a woman who was sitting in the passenger seat of his truck. The footage was recorded by a dashcam in a North Carolina state trooper’s police vehicle.

While the audio in the video is not of the best quality, the officer can be heard instructing Cawthorn to attend a court date on May 6.

The female passenger in the truck then gets out of the truck, helps Cawthorn get into his wheelchair, and then swaps seats with him. Cawthorn shakes the trooper’s hand.

Obviously, the video has been widely shared by leftists online who use it to suggest that the Congressman is of poor character – but the video actually serves as an example of how to deal with the police.

Maybe if radical leftists and BLM activists stopped fighting with police officers and just do what they say, they wouldn’t have so much trouble with them?

Earlier in April, other footage was shared by Queen City News showing Cawthorn getting stopped by a police officer for speeding. When asked for his license, Cawthorn told the officer that he didn’t have his wallet on him.

And in January, Cawthorn was also pulled over for speeding.

If there’s one thing to take from this, honestly, it’s that Cawthorn should probably slow down…
