Dr. Fauci Gets Mocked And Attacked By Public For Getting COVID

(NewsGlobal.com)- Vaccine skeptics are rejoicing on social media about the latest positive test results for COVID-19 that Dr. Anthony Fauci received.

After President Joe Biden’s top medical advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci, was given a rapid test for the coronavirus, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) said in a statement that Fauci has tested positive for the virus.

NIAID stated that Dr. Fauci had received all vaccinations and had two booster shots. He is experiencing minor symptoms at this time. Dr. Fauci will remain quarantined and work from home. He has not been in frequent contact with President Joe Biden or other high-level government officials. Dr. Fauci will adhere to the secure COVID protocols.

While others are sending him to get well soon wishes, some people are glad that he got the infection-

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted, “Breaking News: Anthony Fauci has COVID. He’s octuple vaccinated and quadruple masked, yet the ‘rona still found a way. SCIENCE!”

“Dr. Fauci positive for COVID-19. So he either ignores his own protocols or they don’t work,” wrote Jack Windsor.

@MuchmoreNick wrote, “MR 4 TIMES vaxed Dr FAUCI TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19. Proving yet again! The vax is WORTHLESS!”

“In case anyone needs more proof against vaxxing, against masks, here it is: Dr. Anthony Fauci has COVID,” @Portia72307 tweeted.

“Raise your hand if you’ve never masked or had a vaccine and have had Covid as many times or fewer than Dr. Anthony Fauci,” Scott Morefield wrote, alongside a laughing emoji.

According to a statement from the institute, Fauci, 81, has moderate symptoms and has received two boosters. He is receiving Paxlovid, an antiviral drug.

Fauci has advocated prudence throughout the pandemic and has personally shown it in public settings. For instance, after weighing his danger, he decided not to attend the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April.

Throughout the pandemic, Fauci has been working continuously. He said in May that he hadn’t taken a day off since Covid-19 arrived in the U.S.

Fauci joins a growing list of Biden administration officials diagnosed with COVID-19, including Susan Rice, the White House’s domestic policy adviser, Merrick Garland, Kamala Harris, the vice president, and Gina Raimondo, the secretary of commerce.
