(NewsGlobal.com)- After the Washington Post reported that “sources familiar with the investigation” were claiming that the FBI was looking for classified documents related to nuclear secrets at former President Trump’s home, MSNBC contributor Michael Beschloss tweeted a photo of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, the couple executed in the 1950s for passing nuclear secrets on to the Soviet Union.
The implication of Beschloss’ tweet was clear: Trump should be executed just like the Rosenbergs.
It bears noting that Michael Beschloss has the ear of President Biden.
Just last week, the Washington Post reported that Beschloss was among those in the media who met with Biden in the White House to discuss “the dire condition of democracy at home and abroad.”
And here he is hinting that Donald Trump should meet the same fate as the Rosenbergs over anonymously-sourced claims leaked to the Washington Post.
No wonder our democracy is in “dire condition.”
But it gets worse.
One of the many anti-Trump Resistance members who gleefully quote-tweeted Beschloss’ tweet was former CIA and NSA director, Michael Hayden, a card-carrying member of the Anti-Trump Twitter Resistance.
Hayden retweeted the Rosenberg tweet, adding, “Sounds about right.”
It bears noting that Michael Hayden was one of the members of the so-called “intel community” who signed on to the letter claiming that Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop was likely “Russian disinformation.”
He also accused Trump of running concentration camps on the southern border.
But Hayden’s venom isn’t reserved for Donald Trump alone. He happily attacks half the country.
On Wednesday, Hayden retweeted an anti-Republican tweet from Financial Times editor Edward Luce who accused the Republican Party of being the most “nihilistic, dangerous & contemptible” violent extremists ever. In his retweet, Hayden added, “I agree. And I was the CIA Director.”
