Fauci And Wife’s Net Worth Revealed

Disclosures indicate that upon his departure from his government position, the combined net worth of Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and his wife surpassed $11 million.

Fauci’s financial report from 2022, accessed through a public records request, reflects his monetary status until his resignation at the end of the year. The records illustrate an approximately $2 million increase in net worth for the couple since the onset of the pandemic, even though there was a decrease between 2021 and 2022.

Adam Andrzejewski, CEO of OpenTheBooks, had previously examined several of Fauci’s financial disclosures and commented to Fox News Digital, “The Fauci family’s net worth surpassed $10 million during the pandemic years. Despite market challenges last year, their net worth rose significantly from the $7.6 million in 2019.” Andrzejewski further highlighted that, before retiring in December, Fauci’s salary of $480,654 made him the highest-paid federal employee, outpacing even the president’s compensation of $400,000. Andrzejewski estimated Fauci’s post-retirement federal pension to be unprecedentedly high.

The data reveals that from 2019 to 2022, the Faucis’ net worth grew from around $9.54 million to $11.5 million. This progression resulted from investment profits, awards, compensation, and royalties. However, there was a $1.1 million drop from 2021, when they had a reported combined worth of $12.6 million.

Fauci has diversified his investments into trusts, retirement portfolios, and educational accounts, predominantly in mutual funds without specific stock holdings. By the end of 2022, Fauci’s assets amounted to $9.25 million, while his wife, Christine Grady, chief bioethicist at the National Institutes of Health, contributed approximately $2.2 million. Additionally, in 2022, Fauci’s earnings, which totaled around $481,000, surpassed President Biden’s and marked an almost $25,000 increase from the previous year.

Efforts by Fox News Digital to obtain comments from Grady regarding their financial situation via her official email remained unanswered.

After resigning in December, Fauci has since affiliated himself with Georgetown University, joining as a Distinguished University Professor in the School of Medicine, specifically in the Division of Infectious Diseases. He will also be associated with the university’s McCourt School of Public Policy.

Fauci, a contentious figure during the pandemic, acknowledged last year that the stringent pandemic protocols would adversely affect the economy and school-going children. Despite the consequences, he believed these stringent measures were necessary to curb the spread of the virus, emphasizing the need for a balance between shutting down and reopening more safely.
