Fox News Host Cuts Off Guest Over Claim On Air

Harris Faulkner, the host of the Fox News program, The Faulkner Focus, interrupted former Democratic Pennsylvania Representative Patrick Murphy on Monday as he was trying to praise President Joe Biden.

Doug Collins, a former Republican representative from Georgia, sat down with Murphy and Kamala Harris, a vice presidential candidate, to talk about Joe Biden and the upcoming election.

Collins said that even if Harris and Biden are free from primary campaigning, the problem is, when you take a look at the poll numbers, they’re tanking.

Murphy jumped in and said he wanted to qualify the statements being made by noting that ordinary Americans give little credence to surveys. He said the stock market is up 11%, and 12 million new jobs have been created. Murphy was going to say more, but Harris cut him off mid-sentence.

Harris said that the actual numbers that the American people care about are the numbers mounting at the grocery store at Safeway and Piggly Wiggly. As they stand in line, they care about the numbers that the Biden government has added, like an extra tax, because of persistent inflation.

Based on the most current BLS reports, inflation slowed in May, but it is still running at a rate that is twice as fast as the target rate established by the Federal Reserve.

The results showed that in May, the Consumer Price Index (CPI), which measures changes in the cost of living, fell to 4% from the revised 4% seen in April. The Consumer Price Index tracks price shifts in items and services commonly purchased by consumers.

Since March 2022, when inflation was over the Fed’s target rate of 2%, the Fed has raised interest rates eleven times.

The coming election will primarily be about one thing – “it’s the economy, stupid.”
