(NewsGlobal.com)- She may be behind bars, but the British tabloid press still can’t get enough of Ghislaine Maxwell.
In a recent gossipy article, the UK Mirror tapped sources inside Florida’s FCI Tallahassee prison where Maxwell is serving her prison sentence to learn all about the inmates sharing Maxwell’s sleeping quarters, including two drug traffickers.
Prison inmate is housed with other prison inmates, news at eleven.
Did the UK Mirror think Ghislaine was going to be housed with kindergarten teachers who never committed a crime?
But wait! There’s more!
Two of the women sharing sleeping quarters with Ghislaine Maxwell have long criminal histories.
What a shock.
The two drug traffickers, each of whom is serving a five-year sentence, have between them over 70 convictions.
One source told the Mirror that these women come from very different backgrounds from the wealthy socialite.
Who’da thunk it?
The source points out that Ghislaine came from a very privileged upbringing where she got everything she wanted, but these two drug traffickers didn’t.
It might come as a surprise to the UK Mirror, but federal prisons aren’t exclusive country clubs where the privileged inmates only have to rub shoulders with the right kind of people.
Ghislaine Maxwell is housed in a dormitory with 120 beds and Maxwell shares her quarters with three inmates, the two drug traffickers and a third inmate who was sentenced for possessing over 2 pounds of meth.
The Mirror goes into great detail about each of her bunkmates who, but for the fact that they are housed with the tabloid celebrity, wouldn’t get a drop of ink written about them.
The Mirror also reported that Maxwell “formed a closed friendship” with another inmate who made headlines of her own in 2012 when she was sentenced to life in prison for hiring a hitman to beat her husband and mother-in-law to death.
