Hulk Hogan Explains Reason Behind Appearance at RNC

To the surprise of many, legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan made a guest appearance at the recent Republican National Convention. Along with his appearance, Hogan gave a genuine speech in which he proclaimed his support for former President Donald Trump. In his speech, Hogan revealed to the crowd why it was important to support the former president in such a tumultuous time, despite many celebrities’ public disapproval of the Republican candidate.

Hogan entered the Milwaukee stage last week to a roar of applause. Hogan showed up in a blazer over a T-shirt where he then ripped off his top layer to reveal a sleeveless shirt that read, “Trump Vance Make America Great Again”. Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, proudly showed the graphic tee to his audience, causing a stir online and shocking many in the celebrity community who just didn’t see it coming. The following week, Hogan made another surprise appearance at the Detroit Lions training camp in Michigan where he doubled down on his support.

Hogan stated that he chose to speak at the RNC after the assassination attempt on Trump’s life had changed his mind about remaining “silent”. Hogan explained that his RNC speech was an “intense” moment for him as he claimed he had been quiet about his views for a long time while watching the “demise” of America. Hogan continued that he was upset with himself for remaining silent, but once an assassination attempt had occurred on Trump, he had felt staying silent was not the right thing to do. The former WWE star stated that no matter who the President was, no one should be the victim of political violence.

During Hogan’s RNC speech, his iconic persona came out to help dramatize his talking points. Hogan exclaimed to the Milwaukee crowd, “Let Trump-a-mania run wild, brother” while flexing his biceps. Hogan then called Trump and his VP pick Vance a “fantastic tag team.”
