Mark Zuckerberg Won’t Finance Elections Anymore… Suddenly And Suspiciously

(NewsGlobal.com)- You know how Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg made huge private donations in the 2020 presidential election to boost turnout? And how Democrats claimed there was nothing nefarious about the fact that his money was directed overwhelmingly to Democrat areas?

Well, apparently Zuckerberg thinks that his donation was so legitimate and so beyond reproach that he… won’t’ be doing it again.

The nonprofit used by Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, to distribute $350 million in aid for election offices in 2020 won’t be making similar donations in the 2024 presidential election.

The Center for Technology and Civic Life is apparently launching an entirely new project, this time called the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence. It will be a five-year program, furnished with $80 million in Zuckerberg money, to create a network for thousands of local election officials all over the country who will be able to apply for aid to improve their technology and processes.

Doesn’t this sound like something the state governments should be handling and not private businesses?

This might not be the obvious election interference from Zuckerberg we saw in 2020, but it’s still very, very suspicious.

Tiana Epps-Johnson, the executive director of the nonprofit, announced the new program during the TED2022 program.

“Unfortunately, years of underinvestment means many local election departments often have limited capacity and training,” she said. “The U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence is bringing together world-class partners so that local election officials no longer have to go it alone.”

At face value, it sounds like Zuckerberg is trying to do something positive for the country. But do you trust him? Do you believe that this isn’t just another effort to pump money into Democrat-voting areas to boost turnout while discouraging Republicans from voting? And blocking Republicans from sharing information on Facebook and other Meta-owned platforms?

Come to your own conclusions…
