Obama’s “Never Let Crisis Go To Waste” Aide Considers 2028 White House Run

Obama’s “never let a crisis go to waste” strategist is eyeing a run for the White House. Rahm Emanuel, the notoriously blunt former Obama Chief of Staff and Chicago Mayor, thinks he can be the new leader of the party. But will his old scandal ruin his chances?

At a glance:

• Rahm Emanuel, former Obama White House Chief of Staff and Chicago Mayor, is plotting a 2028 presidential run

• Recently returned from his Ambassador post in Japan, Emanuel is increasing his public profile through media appearances

• His mayoral tenure was marked by corruption allegations, transparency issues, and controversial crisis management

• Emanuel is positioning himself as a centrist Democrat focused on education rather than progressive social issues

• His blunt communication style and ties to organized crime figures could create significant campaign hurdles

Emanuel’s Political Comeback Tour

Rahm Emanuel has been quietly laying groundwork for a 2028 presidential campaign after returning from his Ambassadorship to Japan. His recent media blitz and increased public appearances signal serious White House ambitions for the veteran Democratic operative with a reputation for ruthless political maneuvering.

The man infamous for declaring “you never want a serious crisis to go to waste” has been out of elected office since 2019 but is rapidly rebuilding his domestic political presence as Democrats struggle to find a new leader at a time when some of its top figures are ditching the Woke progressivism that lost them the last election.

“I’ve only been back two months, and I have no idea what I’m doing. I’m not done with public service and I’m hoping public service is not done with me,” Emanuel recently stated, barely concealing his political ambitions.

A Record Plagued By Scandal

Emanuel’s tenure as Chicago mayor was marred by allegations of corruption and classic machine politics that could severely damage any national campaign. His administration faced intense criticism for using private email accounts to conduct official business, raising serious questions about transparency and accountability that echo the Clinton email scandal.

Reports have also highlighted Emanuel’s troubling connections to figures linked to organized crime, adding another potential vulnerability to his candidacy. These associations reflect a concerning pattern of questionable relationships that voters would likely scrutinize in any national campaign against Trump-backed Republicans committed to draining the Washington swamp.

Fighting His Own Party’s Radical Agenda

Emanuel has recently been positioning himself as a moderate alternative within a Democratic party increasingly dominated by far-left ideology. His recent comments suggest he recognizes the electoral disaster Democrats face by prioritizing radical gender ideology over basic education and economic concerns of ordinary Americans.

“I don’t want to hear another word about the locker room. I don’t want to hear another word about the bathroom. You better start focusing on the classroom. In seventh grade, if I had known I could’ve said the word ‘they’ and gotten in the girls’ bathroom, I would’ve done it. We are literally a superpower, we’re facing off against China with 1.4 billion people and two-thirds of our children can’t read eighth grade level,” Emanuel stated in a rare moment of clarity for a Democratic leader.

That alone could potentially win him…something. If enough of the Democratic Party is brave enough to admit they’re wrong, anyway.
