Pop Star’s Death Has People Questioning Industry

(NewsGlobal.com)- Around 11:00 AM on Saturday, Aaron Carter, a popular actor who frequently appeared in cameo roles with the Backstreet Boys and Nickelodeon, was discovered dead in a bathtub at his Lancaster, California home.

Carter had published a request for a face-to-face meeting with Ye two days before, sparking a lot of discussion on social media. In a tweet posted on Thursday, Carter stated, “Yo Kanye, let’s talk…man to man.”

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the housesitter contacted 911 after discovering Carter’s lifeless body in a bathtub.

The official cause of death is drowning.

The Backstreet Boys were Carter’s opening act on a 1997 tour. Carter was born on December 7, 1987, and at 9, he started touring. Just before turning ten, he published his self-titled debut album, selling one million copies.

Despite his fame, Carter has been vocal about being a victim of sexual assault and other forms of exploitation when he was younger, joining several other former child stars in doing so.

Aaron Carter claimed in 2019 that his sister, brother, and backup dancers had molested him for years. The pop star also revealed in an interview that the FBI and his mother had once tried to coerce him into creating a fictitious abuse complaint against Michael Jackson.

When Carter returned to the Sheraton hotel at Universal Studios, four FBI officers were waiting for her there. He said his mother told him to ‘tell them what occurred.”

“I asked her what she meant, Carter said.

That was when he was told they wanted him to make a false accusation of molestation against Michael Jackson.

One internet user hypothesized that Carter might have wanted to chat to Ye about the entertainment industry’s shady side since the musician formerly known as Kanye West had spoken out publicly about it.

His final tweet was addressed to Kanye.

In September, Carter revealed that he willingly enrolled in an outpatient treatment center to reclaim custody of his son, Prince.

Aaron Carter’s twin sister, Angel Carter, posted a statement on Instagram on Saturday regarding her loss-

“To my twin…I loved you beyond measure. You will be missed dearly. My funny, sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you and I, and I promise to cherish them. I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again.”
