Ron DeSantis Says People Who Dont Support His Law Protecting Children Are “Groomers”

( Republican Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, has faced some insane criticism and smears from far-left extremists over the last year. The most recent comes in the form of a false accusation that new legislation designed to stop far-left teachers from telling pupils in the third grade about sex is “anti-gay.”

The legislation has wrongly been labeled the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, even though the legislation does not instruct teachers not to say the word “gay” – nor does it discriminate against homosexuals. Instead, it stops politically motivated teachers from telling very young children about sex.

It shouldn’t be controversial, but it is because the Democrats have claimed the bill is something that it isn’t.

It prompted Christina Pushaw, a spokeswoman for DeSantis, to slam anybody who criticizes the bill as a “groomer.” Those are the kind of fighting words that many Republicans are likely finally happy to hear coming from the mouth of a politician’s spokespeople.

“The bill that liberals inaccurately call ‘Don’t Say Gay’ would be more accurately described as an Anti-Grooming Bill,” Pushaw said.

“If you’re against the Anti-Grooming Bill, you are probably a groomer or at least you don’t denounce the grooming of 4-8 year old children. Silence is complicity. This is how it works, Democrats, and I didn’t make the rules,” she said.

Her comments caused a lot of anger among Democrats and left-wing media outlets, and no wonder. She is, after all, using their tactics.

The difference, though, is that Pushaw is telling the truth.

In what universe is teaching four-year-old children about sex – including gay sex – a good idea?
