Rep. Mike Gallagher, a Republican from Wisconsin and former Marine, recently proposed a fascinating theory regarding UFOs or unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs).
During an appearance on ESPN’s sports talk show hosted by analyst Pat McAfee, Gallagher suggested that these UFOs might be human-piloted time-traveling crafts from the future, drawing parallels to the premise of “The Terminator,” a 1984 film.
Gallagher proposed another intriguing possibility, stating that these UFOs could also be representatives of an ancient civilization that has been concealed on Earth but has now decided to reveal itself.
He emphasized the importance of government transparency in this matter, calling for the declassification of relevant information to the public.
Gallagher believed that by doing so, the government would demonstrate competence and a proactive approach, regardless of whether the extraterrestrial hypothesis or other explanations were confirmed or debunked.
However, the congressman also acknowledged the possibility of a more straightforward explanation, speculating that the UFO sightings could be attributed to advanced technology developed by adversarial nations such as China.
Gallagher, who serves as the chairman of the House Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, expressed particular interest in exploring this angle.
In a separate development, Sen. Marco Rubio, a Republican from Florida, expressed concern about the military’s alleged involvement in a UFO crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program.
Rubio, vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, described the program as “very problematic.”
According to a transcript of his recent interview obtained by DailyMail.com from a member of Rubio’s office, he characterized the alleged UFO program as an independent military complex that operates outside routine government oversight, which he found problematic.
Rubio claimed to have received firsthand testimonies from senior military and intelligence whistleblowers about covert UFO programs, expanding his knowledge beyond the accounts provided by David Charles Grusch.
Grusch asserted that he had provided Congress with extensive classified information regarding covert U.S. government programs, including possessing an intact craft of “non-human origin.”
Grusch, who served as the representative of the National Reconnaissance Office to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force from 2019 to 2021 and later as the NGA’s co-lead for UAP analysis and representative to the task force from late 2021 to July 2022, believes that the information was unlawfully withheld from Congress.
He reportedly filed a complaint stating that he faced illegal retaliation for his confidential disclosures, as reported by The Debrief.
According to The Debrief’s report, Grusch stated that the government, its allies, and defense contractors have been recovering fragments and even intact vehicles of unknown origin for several decades.
Through analysis, it has been determined that these objects possess “exotic origin” and exhibit unique atomic arrangements, material science testing, and distinct radiological signatures, suggesting the involvement of non-human intelligence, whether of extraterrestrial or unknown origin.
