“Squad” Member Breaks Down Into Tears On House Floor

(NewsGlobal.com)- On Thursday, Democratic Representative Rashida Tlaib of Michigan burst into tears while speaking on the floor of the House of Representatives in response to Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota being removed from her position on the House Foreign Affairs committee.

Tlaib asked where the “warriors of free speech” are in this day and age.

She said the “hypocrisy is obvious” to the American people, and the GOP shows who they all are.

The left wants to speak freely with no repercussions while they have made an industry out of “cancel culture” for utterances people might have made decades ago.

Omar was removed from the committee by a vote on Thursday, which prompted Tlaib to scream against the decision and break down in tears.

The ouster was due to Omar’s history of antisemitic statements regarding Jews, including remarks in which she asserted that American backing of Israel was “all about the Benjamins.”

The vote was divided along party lines, with 218 Republicans opting to remove Omar from the committee, while all 211 Democrats voted for her to continue in her capacity.

Omar was officially “disqualified” from serving on the Foreign Affairs committee. The resolution declared that Omar had “brought dishonor to the House of Representatives” with her antisemitic comments.

A video of Tlaib sobbing about the measure was circulated on social media-

Tlaib started sobbing and kept talking even though she was often informed that her time was over and that the microphone was no longer available.

Tlaib exclaimed, “I know that Congresswoman Omar will not be silenced.” Then Tlaib called her “sister.”

“To Congresswoman Omar, I am so sorry sis, that our country is failing you today through this chamber!”

When Tlaib refused to acknowledge that her allotted time had passed, the microphone she was blubbering into was finally switched off.
