Sylvester Stalone To Star In Reality TV Show With Family

Like the Osbournes and the Kardashians before him, “Rambo” actor Sylvester Stallone, his wife Jennifer, and their three children Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet will let cameras into their personal space.

Stallone told Reuters that this is something he’s been wanting to do for a long time, which is to share his life a little bit because he feels it’s entertaining.

He said it also has a message that no matter what you have, trappings of wealth and fortune, you still have the same issues, the exact wants, the same needs, and the same requirements for love.

The family claims that Sistine and Sophia’s podcast “Unwaxed” inspired the show.

When asked about the show’s similarities to “The Kardashians,” Stallone responded that he felt that the show was brilliant and very original, but they’re taking a different tack— the most important rule is never to imitate another person’s work.

Stallone said they are who they are, and “we are who we are,” explaining how his show is not like The Kardashians, unsuccessfully. (It sounds like The Kardashians, now starring The Stallones.)

Sylvester is used to playing the lead role in blockbuster movies, having done so in the Rocky and Rambo series. But in The Family Stallone, he’ll be thrust into a position that’s whole new terrain for him. It will show Sylvester as a husband and father as he balances his professional and personal life and deals with the dating lives of his daughters and his relationship with his wife. Sylvester has always prioritized his family, and this highly anticipated reality program will give fans a closer look at his dynamic with his loved ones.

Stallone married Jennifer Flavin in 1997.

The show premiered on Wednesday, May 17, at 9 p.m. EDT. Fans saw Stallone at work on the set of his TV series “Tulsa King” and at home with his family. New episodes of The Family Stallone will air every week.
