Trump Vows to Remove All ‘Woke’ Military Commanders if Elected

Donald Trump has promised to remove “woke” leaders from the US military. Speaking during a rally in North Carolina, he said policies promoted by the Biden administration were “insulting” to US forces and that “Comrade Kamala” had conducted “radical social experiments” across the military. “On day one, I will get Critical Race Theory and transgender insanity the hell out of our US Armed Forces,” he said.

The former President spoke from behind bulletproof glass at the North Carolina Aviation Museum and Hall of Fame in Asheboro, his first outdoor event since the attempt on his life in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July.

He insisted that the “fake news” did not report the disruption that “woke” ideas have brought to the armed forces, adding that “Marxist” ideas have no place in combat, and if people want to change their gender, they should “go somewhere else.”

The North Carolina speech was explicitly convened to address national security and the former President mentioned his previous remarks about NATO. Trump repeated his assertion that other NATO countries have to “pay their dues,” adding that some European countries had failed to do so. Kamala Harris, however, insists that Trump is alienating America’s friends and making the country less safe.

In her address at the DNC, the Vice President said Trump was cozying up to dictators while betraying fellow democracies. She pledged that under her leadership, America will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with its friends and stand up to Russian President Vladimir Putin and other adverseries.

On the final night of the DNC, the Vice President formally accepted her party’s nomination and promised to chart a new way forward for the United States. Ms. Harris declared that she wants to move the country beyond the “bitterness, cynicism, and divisive battles of the past” and forward to a united America.

Regarding policy, she promised to enact middle-class tax cuts, pass the bipartisan border deal opposed by Republicans, defend reproductive rights, and stand with unions and workers. On foreign affairs, Harris affirmed her commitment to Israel’s defense and pledged to secure hostage releases and end the war with Hamas. Pro-Palestinian protestors gathered in Chicago throughout the convention, but the issue was rarely mentioned.
