Streaming giant Netflix announced on August 21 that Pop legend Victoria Beckham was about to film a controversial documentary where she would reveal the secret and every single aspect of her fashion empire. The company made the announcement a couple of days after numerous journalists revealed on social media the massive deal that the former Spice Girl made with Netflix.
Industry experts explained that the move wasn’t surprising, considering the massive success of her husband David Beckham’s docuseries, which was nominated for an Emmy and a BAFTA. They detailed that Netflix is trying to take advantage of the momentum and deliver another documentary of the other most prominent member of the Beckham family, while the former soccer player’s docuseries keep receiving a lot of views.
In the announcement, Netflix said that the legendary Pop star will not only say everything about her brand but will also offer exclusive access to her preparations for the 2025 Paris Fashion Week, which many believe could be her next big hit. The documentary will also show some behind-the-scenes pictures and videos that have never been published about her first years on The Spice Girls and the way she turned from a pop singer to the director of a massive beauty and fashion brand.
