White House Releases Harris’ ‘Unremarkable’ Medical Records

The White House recently released the medical records of Vice President Kamala Harris, which shows that she’s in “excellent health.”

The “unremarkable” medical records of the Democratic nominee for president were released with less than a month before November’s election. GOP nominee Donald Trump hasn’t released his medical records yet, even though he’s promised to do so on numerous occasions.

The former president has released physical exam results as well as memos about his health from his various personal doctors.

Harris’ medical records, which were released on Saturday by the White House, were written by Dr. Joshua Simmons, who is her physician.

In the documents, Dr. Simmons wrote that Harris suffers from seasonal allergies. Her most common symptoms include conjunctivitis, rhinitis and urticaria, which is more commonly known as hives.

Harris also regularly takes prescription and over-the-counter medications to treat these symptoms, though her doctor says they’ve never been “severe.”

The doctor further stated that the results of Harris’ last physical exam, which was done in April of this year, were “unremarkable.” He termed her most recent routine panel of blood work the same way.

He did note that Harris’ levels of Vitamin D were “in the insufficient range.”

Dr. Simmons noted that Harris’ has a family history of colon cancer, which took the life of her mother back in 2009. She doesn’t have any personal history of conditions such as cancer, osteoporosis, neurological disorders, pulmonary disease, cardiac disease, high blood pressure or diabetes.

It was further noted that Harris wears contact lenses because she has mild nearsightedness. Still, she can comfortably read without the use of glasses or contacts.

The last comprehensive physical exam results that Trump released came back in January of 2018. That exam was conducted by Dr. Ronny Jackson, who was the White House physician at the time.

That report described Trump as having a high body mass index, high cholesterol and rosacea, which is a chronic skin condition that can cause redness or flushing in the face.

The former president was said to be taking medication to lower his cholesterol at the time, aspirin every day to prevent heart disease as well as another medication that treats male-pattern hair loss.

In November of 2023, Trump released another letter from Dr. Bruce Aronwald, his personal physician, that read that he was in “excellent health.” The doctor said Trump had lost weight, his lab analysis was “favorable” and all cognitive exams done were “exceptional.”

No specific details of any of those tests or exams were released, though.

The health of the presidential candidates — both physical and mental — have taken on new significance over the last year or so. Trump routinely attacked President Joe Biden for his perceived lack of cognitive abilities while he was the Democrats’ leading choice.

Those questions eventually moved their way into the minds of other liberals, which resulted in Biden stepping aside, allowing Harris to take his place atop the Democratic ticket.
