(NewsGlobal.com)- On Monday, the head of the World Health Organization that he has instructed a “serious” internal investigation to take place into allegations that the United Nations agency didn’t act on the racist, unethical, and abusive behavior of one of its officials in the Western Pacific.
Dr. Tedros Abhanom Ghebreyesus revealed how the agency was first made aware of reports of racist conduct from dr. Takeshi Kasai late last year. He told the press that the WHO takes accusations of racism seriously and that they have “acted with urgency.”
He also said that the headquarters of the WHO was now “following due process” and cooperating with members of staff to investigate exactly what happened.
According to a report by the Associated Press, the French diplomatic mission said that if the investigation discovers that the accusations are true, Dr. Kasai will be terminated as a director of the agency.
The allegations came out first in an Associated Press investigation that showed how staffers of the agency were suffering a “toxic atmosphere” as well as a culture of “systemic bullying and public ridiculing” in the Manila, Western Pacific headquarters of the agency.
Audio recordings were also made available to the Associated Press which were taken during internal meetings. In them, Kasai can be heard making nasty remarks about other members of staff based on their ethnicity or nationality. The accusations against him were supported by the testimony of eleven former and current WHO staffers.
Given that Dr. Kasai isn’t white, the Woke left will have a tough one explaining how this is an example of racism.
