“Disinformation” monitoring groups are part of a covert operation blacklisting and defunding conservative media, costing the right-wing news businesses vast sums of advertising dollars and exposure.
Large advertising firms increasingly turn to supposedly “nonpartisan” organizations that promise to monitor the internet for and combat the spread of “disinformation.”
According to insiders, the same “disinformation” monitors construct secret website blacklists and pass them to ad businesses to defund and shut down disfavored speech. This blacklist includes at least 2,000 websites.
Newsmax, The American Spectator, the American Conservative, the Federalist, One America News, the Daily Wire, the New York Post, the Blaze, Reason, and RealClearPolitics are examples of the right-leaning yet perfectly mainstream publications on this list.
Ad-blocking sentinels like Newsguard and the Global Disinformation Index have rendered conservative news sources unable to compete economically with mainstream media channels like CNN and the New York Times.
NewsGuard claims to be the most authoritative fact checker in the United States. If you look closer, you’ll see that they’re just another left-wing propaganda outlet passing themselves off as the final authority on matters of fact.
NewsGuard gives left-leaning news sites a 27-point advantage over their conservative counterparts. NewsGuard compiled a hasty top 10 list of the most widely visited sites known for spreading disinformation in 2021. In addition to Gateway Pundit, The Federalist, and Newsmax, the list included lifeaction.org and lifenews.com.
On the other hand, they rated the most reliable news outlets and found that NBC News, the New York Times, USA Today, and the Washington Post were all among the top 10.
Members of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) have agreed to install NewsGuard browser extensions on school computers so that when children visit potentially dangerous websites, they can simply “NewsGuard it.” The AFT even boasted in a news statement that NewsGuard is now a verb, meaning that when content is flagged, they ‘NewsGuard’ it.
So, the left is not only squeezing out the right economically but also the right intellectually.
This is Orwellian. It’s criminal.
