Probe Of Hunter Biden Unearths Damning Email

On Wednesday, James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, wrote to the National Archives and Records Administration. He wrote asking for privileged, unfettered access to any correspondence between Biden’s office, Hunter Biden, or his business colleagues.

Comer has asked NARA for complete, uncensored copies of the records about Hunter Biden, James Biden, and their international business dealings.
An email from December 4, 2015, is included in the requested materials. In it, longtime Biden family business partner Eric Schwerin set suggestions to Biden’s communications director Kate Bedingfield to use in response to media inquiries concerning Hunter Biden’s membership on the Ukrainian energy business Burisma board. At 10:45 a.m. on that day, Schwerin sent out the email. At 2:30 p.m., hours later, Bedingfield replied, “VP signed off on this.”

Still, Biden claims he knew nothing about Hunter’s business deals.

Longtime Biden family business colleague Devon Archer claims that on December 4, 2015, after attending a Burisma board of directors meeting in Dubai, Hunter Biden contacted Washington, D.C., to discuss pressure from Burisma.

According to Archer, throughout their time working together, then-vice president Biden was a party to about 20 phone conversations and in-person meetings with Hunter’s international business colleagues. He said that he and Hunter could take advantage of several financially rewarding possibilities because of the Biden brand, which included membership on the Burisma board because of their proximity to the vice president. The senior Biden subsequently referenced dismissing Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was looking into allegations made by Burisma’s founder and CEO Mykola Zlochevsky.

According to her financial disclosure forms, Schwerin worked for Oldaker, Biden & Belair (Hunter’s lobbying firm) from 2002 until 2008. Fox News claims that he made at least 36 trips to the White House and Naval Observatory when Biden was vice president.

Emails on Hunter’s forgotten laptop reveal Schwerin’s deep involvement in the Biden family’s finances. He acted as a go-between when Hunter and his dad needed money transferred.

In April 2022, Republicans in the House of Representatives requested any correspondence between President Joe Biden and Hunter from Schwerin.
NARA has until September 20 to turn over any records or correspondence with the Oval Office (including the Vice President’s office) pertaining to Eric Schwerin.
